James F. Hotz, Jr., 61, of Perkiomenville, died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at University of Pennsylvania Hospital. He was the husband of Elizabeth M. (Sutter) Hotz celebrating 39 years of marriage on April 8, 2012.
Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Doris R. (Murphy) and James F. Hotz, Sr.
He was employed as a Metallurgic Heat Treater for Solar Atmosphere in Souderton for many years before retiring.
He was a member of The Vultures and The Antique Car Club of America and a former member of The Road Angels.
Surviving along with his wife, are a son, Keith of Perkiomenville and 4 grandsons. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by a son, Jimmy J. Hotz.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Charles E. Romanowski, Pastor of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church officiating. Burial follows at Frieden’s Union Cemetery, Sumneytown. Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. and also on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
