James Edward Boyd, 59, of Pennsburg, died Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Grand View Hospital – Sellersville. He was the husband of Maryhelen (Green) Boyd celebrating 24 years of marriage on May 27th.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Gladys L. (Langley) Boyd of Lansdale and the late Norman L. Boyd, Jr.
He was a Sales Representative for Tretter Manufacturing, Allentown for the past four years and also had worked 3 years at Strahman Valves, Inc. in Bethlehem and 26 years at Fetterolf Inc. in Skippack.
James was an avid hunter and fisherman, lover of family, friends, and the outdoors.
He will be sadly missed by his wife; mother; two children, Erin Elizabeth Boyd of Chalfont and Gregory James Boyd of Pennsburg; sister, Barbara Boyd Ritter of West Norriton; two grandchildren, Roland and Zoe Shaffer and niece, Kristin Ritter Crysler.
A memorial service will be held 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. James R. Roth officiating.
