James Boesch

February 28, 1945 — June 14, 2021

James Edward Boesch, 76, of Palm, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 14, 2021. The loving husband of Suzanne I. (Lynch) Boesch, they shared 52 wonderful years of marriage.

He was born in Philadelphia to the late Ernest and Gertrude (Failey) Boesch and was a
graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School. He proudly served his country in multiple capacities for 33 years. Serving for two terms in the United States Navy, he was a photographer onboard the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid during Vietnam. He was also a member of the Air Force Reserves and the 193rd Special Operations Wing of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, deployed overseas in 2003 as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol out of the Quakertown Airport.

James was employed at PPL as a Quality Control Specialist, retiring in 2010 after 32 years. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Breinigsville. In his spare time, he found enjoyment in researching his family ancestry. His greatest joy was found in his wife, children, and grandchildren, in whom he devoted a lifetime of love and memories. Above all, his dedication to his Heavenly Father, and the example of Jesus’ love that he poured into everyone he knew is what he will always be remembered for.

In addition to his wife, he will be deeply loved and missed by his four children: Karen Gyarmati and husband Peter of Albrightsville, PA, Kathleen Diehl and husband Michael of Green Lane, PA, Lori Glass and husband Allan of Salem, MA, and James Boesch and wife Erica of Barto, PA; 10 grandchildren: Tyler and Mason Gyarmati, Emily Irwin and husband Nicholas, Braeden, Avery and Kelly Diehl, Isaac Glass, and David, Ethan and Jason Boesch; his sister, Kitty Capper and husband Thomas of Lansdale; and a sister-in-law, Gloria Boesch. He is predeceased by brothers, Thomas and Charles Boesch; and a sister, Betty Callahan.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041. A visitation with the family will be held before the service from 9 to 10:45 AM. You may offer online condolences at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
