Jack Koehler, 86, of Zieglerville, PA, formerly of Lansdale and Green Lane, PA, passed away on July 10, 2021 at Frederick Living. He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, M. Ellen (Wurtz) Koehler.
Born in North Wales, PA, he was the son of Leroy and Florence (Kline) Koehler.
Jack attended North Wales public schools and worked in construction and insurance industries. In 1983, he and his wife Ellen, co-founded Bridge-it Fabricators, Inc. in East Greenville, PA. He retired from the business in 1996. He remained active in the Free & Accepted Masons Perkiomen Lodge 595.
He enjoyed biking, walking, golfing and working out at local YMCA’s. He gave generously to many charities.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Koehler Burgunder (Mark) and son, Jack Michael Koehler (Yvonne). He has six grandchildren, Lauren, Mark and Ryan Burgunder and Kyle, Michael and Tyler Koehler. He is predeceased by siblings Franklin Koehler and Evelyn Cullingford.
A Masonic service will be held at 2:00 PM with the funeral service following on Friday, July 16, 2021 at New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville, PA. A burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jack’s memory to the Boyertown YMCA 301 W. Spring St, Boyertown, PA 19512.
