Isabel (Ziegler) Horn, 87, wife of John E. Horn, formerly of Perkiomenville, died Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Brandywine Hospital. She and her husband celebrated 67 years of marriage last November.
Born in Fairview Village, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Anna (Doak) Ziegler.
She was a kindergarten teacher for 35 years for the Upper Perkiomen School District retiring in 1982. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Obelisk, PA.
Surviving along with her husband are two daughters, Virginia Horn, wife of Richard Benfield, Laurel Springs, NJ, and Patricia, wife of Thomas Ahlborn, West Chester; nine grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, John E. Horn, Jr., and a brother, Ralph Ziegler.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Parkhouse Providence Point, 1600 Black Rock Road, Royersford, PA with Rev. David Swavely officiating.
At the family’s request, memorial contributions may be made to Proliteracy Worldwide, 1320 Jamesville Ave., Syracuse, NY 13210.
