Irene (Biginski) Zohil, 82, widow of Joseph Zohil, of Green Lane, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013 in Grand View Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie (Jablonski) Biginski.
She was a loving wife and mother and loved gardening.
She will be sadly missed by her seven children, Kathleen Nelson of Green Lane, Deborah, wife of Alan Kuhar of Unityville, Sandra, wife of William Walton of Harleysville, Joseph “Joe” Zohil and his wife, Ellen of Perkasie, Lisa, widow of the late Ronald Monahan of Telford, Amy Jo, wife of John Ganter of Green Lane, and Nicole, wife of David Tucker of Harleysville; a sister, Jean Biginski of Philadelphia, 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a brother, Thomas Biginski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at St. Maria Goretti, 1601 Derstine Road, Hatfield, PA 19440 with the Rev. Andrew Brownholtz officiating. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. at the church prior to the mass. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041.
