Ida Mae (High) Kulp, 68, widow of Donald R. Kulp, of Bartman Avenue, Gilbertsville, formerly of Layfield Road, Perkiomenville, died November 11, 2011 at her home.
Born in Pottstown, PA she was a daughter of the late Warren A. and Kathryn L. (DeKalb) High.
She worked in Deli Department at Redner’s Warehouse Markets in Red Hill for many years retiring in 2006.
Surviving are three daughters, Jodi L. Bernhard and husband, Kevin of Pottstown, Jill L. Grebe of Gilbertsville and Julie L. Eddinger of Bechtelsville; a sister, Sandy Buckingham of Pottstown, three brothers, Gene High and wife, Carol of Bechtelsville, George Spohn of Pottstown and Donald Spohn of Boyertown; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a son, Jeffery Eddinger and three brothers and a sister.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Charles E. Romanowski, Pastor of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Pennsburg officiating. Interment will follow in Shepherd of the Hills Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
