Homer H. Hetrick, 87, formerly of Zionsville died December 31, 2012 at Pennsburg Manor. He was the husband of Virginia (Batman) Hetrick. Born in Kraussdale, he was a son of the late Herman and Eva (Kulp) Hetrick.
He worked as a Production Pipe Builder for the Tyler Pipe Co. of Macungie, retiring in 1987.
Homer was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Church and the Upper Milford Western Dist. Fire Co.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Larry H. Hetrick and wife, Gayle of Emmaus; siblings, Beatrice Kohler of Zionsville, Violet wife of Victor Haberle of Emmaus, Francis “Penny” Hetrick of Zionsville; and Alma wife of Allen Carl of Palm; two grandchildren, Pamela wife of Donald Marsh and Brad Hetrick and wife, Julie; five great-grandchildren, Samantha and Alex Marsh, Brooke, McKenna and Blake Hetrick. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by a daughter, Sharon D. Hetrick, brother, Norman Hetrick and a sister, Kathryn “Cassie” Miller.
A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville. There will be a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
