Herbert R. “Herbie” Wolf, Jr., 80, of Dogwood Drive, Green Lane died Monday, September 18, 2017 in his home.
Born in Marlborough Township, he was a son of the late Estella V. (Moll) and Herbert R. Wolf, Sr.
He worked for Floyd G. Hersh, Inc. for 37 years.
He was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and was a 1954 graduate of Upper Perkiomen Joint High School. He was a life member of the Pike Township Sportsmen’s Association and the Green Lane Fire Company and loved watching the Indy Car Racing, going to his farm in Sullivan County and hunting and fishing.
Surviving are a sister, Jean Fulmer of Schwenksville, many nieces and nephews and their families and his caregiver, Grayce Metho. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Koons, and two brothers, Rev. Richard Wolf and Linford Wolf.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, September 25, 2017 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1244 St. Paul’s Church Road, Pennsburg PA 18073 with the Rev. Wayne Moritz officiating. Interment will follow in church cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Arrangements are by Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville.
