Herbert James Blair, Jr., 58, of Green Lane and formerly of Erdenheim, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Grand View Hospital. He was the husband of Leslie Kay (Sell) Blair celebrating 24 years of marriage on December 29, 2013.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of Doris May (Jordan) and Herbert J. Blair, Sr. of Skippack.
He was a 1973 graduate of Springfield High School then owned Blair Electrical Contracting, Inc in Green Lane for 25 years.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sumneytown.
Surviving along with his wife and parents are two children, Rachel E. and Jared M. Blair of Green Lane; and siblings, Paul R. Blair and wife, Kim of Warrington and Carol L., wife of Randy Bergey of Lederach.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3104 Main Street, Sumneytown, PA 18084, with Rev. Rebecca Eisenhart officiating. There will be a visitation from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. Saturday at the church.
