Helene L. Long, 88, of Red Hill, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at her home. She was the wife of Willard A. Long, with whom she shared 70 years of marriage.
She was born in New Hanover Township, a daughter of the late Raymond and Florence (Kulp) Hank. Helene worked for 35 years at American Olean Tile in Lansdale before retiring in 1992.
Mrs. Long was a life member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Pennsburg, PA. She loved embroidering, baking for family and friends, word puzzles and playing with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Beverly A. Yoder and her husband Richard Yoder, of Bechtelsville and Debra A. Heacock, of Green Lane; brother, Ronald Hank, of Pottstown; two grandchildren: Nikolos Yoder and wife Michelle, Nathan Yoder and wife Danielle; and five great-granchildren: Elias, Miya, Shelby, Willow and Waylan and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by siblings: Bernice Kulp, Mary Ellen Kibblehouse, Joan Amzulewecy, Oliver and Raymond Hank.
There will be no formal services at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Helene’s memory to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 81 Main Street, Pennsburg, PA 18073.
