Hannah A. (Smith) Reiman, 97, widow of Leroy H. Reiman, died Friday, March 19, 2010 at Grandview Hospital, Sellersville. She lived in her home in Perkiomenville for the past 90 years.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late U. Wayne and Rida (Schrack) Smith.
She was a member of Frieden’s United Church of Christ, Sumneytown. She was a member of Perkiomen Chapter #318 Order of the Eastern Star, Red Hill, the American Legion Post #184, East Greenville, the Green Lane Fire Company, the Harleysville SAC, the Young at Heart, the Upper Perkiomen Senior Center, East Greenville, the Golden Agers, Pennsburg and she enjoyed square dancing with the Quaker Eights and at Melody Lakes.
Surviving are a son, Wayne W. Reiman and his wife, Margaret L. of Kutztown; two daughters, Maryannette, wife of Dennis R. McKinlay of Perkiomenville and Kathryn, wife of Leroy R. Bernhart of Perkiomenville; 11 grandchildren, Carl, Dale, Bill, Joe, Dean, Debbie, Craig, Denise, Michelle, Mike and Danny and 19 great grandchildren, Destiny, Desiree, Jared, Zachary, Sam, Marcella, Carly, Sarah, Kelsey, Jessica, Max, Halee, Ben, Tyler, Grady, Brady, Danny, Suevelyn and Louis.
Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Gay Caroline Reiman, who died in 1951 and two brothers, John and W. Wayne Smith.
A Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 24th, at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA with Rev. Cheryl A. Stoneback officiating followed by the interment in Frieden’s Union Cemetery. An Order of the Eastern Star Funeral Service was exemplified at 10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
