Grace E. (Walbert) Prutsman, 96, widow of Raymond E. Prutsman, formerly of Pennsburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Weston Senior Living Center, Emmaus.
Born in Topton, PA she was a daughter of the late Paul and Clara (Fretz) Walbert.
Along with her husband, she owned the former Penn Square Restaurant in Pennsburg for 20 years.
She was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ.
Grace was an avid bowler in her younger years and enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening.
Surviving is a daughter, Nancy E., widow of John G. Doolin of Pennsburg; siblings, Robert Walbert and wife, Marie of Macungie, Betty Rohrbach of Allentown, and Jane Englert of Virginia; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren and one step-great great grandchild. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Terry E. Prutsman.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 23, 2014 at New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Deborah Rahn Clemens officiating. Burial follows in the church cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at church. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville.
