Glen "Rocco" Carson

February 26, 1940 — November 10, 2024

Glen W. "Rocco" Carson of East Greenville passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital- Upper Bucks. He was the widower of Judith (McKernan) Carson, with whom he shared 36 years of marriage before her passing in 2003.

Rocco was a 1958 Roxborough High School graduate and earned a bachelor's degree from The Pennsylvania State University in 1963. He enjoyed a long career in human resources at multiple companies in Pennsylvania and Indiana, ultimately retiring as Vice President of Human Resources at Autoliv in 2001.

Outside of his professional life, Glen found joy in the simple pleasures. He had a passion for collecting antique cars and showcasing them at car shows. His love for oil painting allowed him to express his creativity and appreciation for the arts. As an avid Penn State fan, Rocco eagerly cheered for their football team, embodying the true spirit of a dedicated supporter. Above all, Rocco cherished the time spent with his family and the moments they shared together.

He will be deeply missed by his two daughters, Elizabeth Carson-Nave and husband, Anthony and Amy Shup and husband, Brad; four grandchildren, Anthony and Isabella Nave and Carson; girlfriend, Hannah and Christopher Shup. He is also survived by his brother, Charles Carson, and his wife, Patricia.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041.
