Gladys A. (Brown) Gaul, 94, widow of Lewis J. Gaul, Sr., of Boyertown, formerly of Green Lane, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Pennsburg Manor.
Born in Hammonton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Elsie M. (Gross) Brown.
She was a homemaker and worked at Pillsbury for seven years. She was also a bell ringer for a church in Las Cruces, New Mexico for 2 years.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Red Hill.
She was known for her crafting spirit, floral arrangements and putting together puzzles.
Surviving her are her children, Gladys A. Trumbauer of Sellersville, Lewis J. Gaul, Jr. of Boyertown and Dennis G. Gaul of Boyertown; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 12 great great-grandchildren; and a brother, Douglas E. Brown of Pinnacle, FL.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a son, James H. Gaul and a brother, Kenneth C. Brown.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1244 St. Paul’s Church Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 with Leah Woehr-Grande officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 12 to 1 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
