Gino A. Manfredi, 48, of Sumneytown, died Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Pennsburg Manor. He was the beloved husband of Sharon L. (Faust) Manfredi celebrating thirteen years of marriage on June 6, 2011.
Born in Tacoma, Washington, he was the son of Angelo Manfredi of Red Hill and the late Judy (Brummett) Manfredi.
He worked at Buckman’s, Inc. as a truck driver and in the warehouse.
He attended St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and enjoyed woodworking, construction and home improvement projects around the house. Gino is most known and loved for his bass playing and music writing. He was an avid rock musician, playing in various clubs across the east coast. He will be sadly missed by his family and his friends.
Surviving along with his wife and father are his son, Antonio D. Manfredi of Sumneytown; step-son, Kenneth Broughton, II of Lansdale; a sister, Anita Ortiz and husband, Hector of Bethlehem; two nieces, Monica Vinces of NJ and Maritza Ortiz of Bethlehem; and two grandnieces, Janiyah and Deza Ray.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Family and friends are invited to call 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Immediately following the service, there will be a tribute with live music at the funeral home.
