Geraldine A. (Watson) Ling, 69, wife of Waymon A. Ling for 51 years in November, of Concord Drive, Hereford,died on February 25 at her home.
Born in Cowanesque, PA, she was a daughter of the late Thurston W. and Alice J. (Simons) Watson.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving along with her husband are three children, Anita L., wife of Cole VanZile of Hereford, PA, Michael A. Ling of Reinholds, PA and Lisa A., wife of Grantland Rice of Belleville, IL; three brothers, Kenneth Watson of Corning, NY, James Watson of Cowanesque PA and Thomas Watson of Greenville, TX; two sisters, Delores, wife of Bob O’Bryant of Inverness, FL and Esther, wife of Fred Spencer of Collinsville, IL; 7 grandchildren, Travis,Jamie, Darla, Katelyn, Allison, Erica and Drew and 7 great grandchildren, Kaden, Riley, Levi, Tanner, Cameron, Kirra and Kaleb. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings, Wilbur, Donald, Evelyn, Albert, Harvey and Jeanette.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Cowanesque Methodist Church with Pastor Daryl M. Butler officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in her memory to Cowanesque Methodist Church, c/o Fern Plumley, 2271 Rt. 49, Westfield, PA 16950.
