Gerald Broadhurst, 70, beloved husband of Mary Anne (Nevins) Broadhurst for over 20 years, of Old Mill Road, Barto died on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Loughborough, England, he was the son of the late Richard and Beatrice (Maynard) Broadhurst. He was a mechanical engineer for Air Products and Chemicals, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed hiking, traveling, rehabbing old houses, and music, especially jazz, rock, and R&B.
Survivors: Wife, four children, James Broadhurst and wife, Rosemary of Manteo, NC, Richard Broadhurst and wife, Amy of Middletown, DE, Sarah Stevenson and husband, Sean of Moyock, NC and William Broadhurst and companion, Pam of Kill Devil Hills, NC; six grandchildren; and his former wife, Anne P. Broadhurst of Kill Devil Hills, NC.
