Gary H. Strimpel, 65, of Pottstown, formerly of Monroe, MI, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024 after a prolonged illness. Born in September of 1958, he was the son of the late Paul and Ruth (Zimmerman) Strimpel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Libby Strimpel.
Gary is survived by his three daughters, Silver Tally, Nicole Andrews and Draycin Strimpel; two step-sons, Joel Powers and James Wood, Jr.; step-daughter, Angie Powers; three grandchildren, Sincere Strimpel, Samiah Brown and Nolan Powers. He is also survived by eight sisters and three brothers.
Gary was a dedicated and loving father who made his children the center of his life. He was affectionately called by his children as “Papa G”. Gary was known in his community as a person who was always willing to help anyone who needed assistance. Gary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.
