Gary L. Marks, 68, of Palm, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital on 17th Street. Born in Sellersville, he was the son of the late Harold R. and Elsie M. (Curran) Marks.
Gary was a plasterer and contractor, working for himself and other contractors throughout his career. He was a member of the East Greenville Fire Co., American Legion Post 184 in East Greenville, the Citizen’s Fire Co. #2 in Emmaus and the Sons of Legions Post 601 in Sonestown.
One of his greatest joys was spending time in Sullivan County; he loved the endless mountains. He also enjoyed showing off his 1932 Ford Truck Street Rod at the Wheels of Time in Macungie.
Surviving are his two sisters, Barbara Sands and husband, Glenn of East Greenville, PA and Mary Lou Stoneback and husband, David of Red Hill, PA; his brother, Richard Marks and wife, Sue of LaPorte, PA; and his companion of 8 years, Jennifer Beck of Palm. He is predeceased by his wife, Cindy Rickert Miller Marks; his infant brother, Bryan; a nephew Troy Marks; a niece, Brandi Cathers Kralik; and his beloved dog, Dallas.
Services will be private at this time. Arrangements entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041.
