Frank David Woodhouse, 85, of Pennsburg, PA, died on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Pheobe Richland Health Care Center.
Born in Little Hadham, Hertfordshire, England he was a son of the late David and Eliza Mary (Mansfield) Woodhouse.
He was a self employed mason for 65 years, a graduate of Little Hadham High School, Hadham, England a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Perkiomenville, a World War II Veteran having served as an Able Bodied Seaman in the Royal Navy, and he enjoyed boats and the open sea.
Surviving are sons, Graham F. Woodhouse and wife, Janine of Green Lane, Peter G. Woodhouse and wife, Silvia of Macungie, and Dirk A. Woodhouse and wife, Debra of Pennsburg; grandchildren, Stephanie, Bridgett, Sophie, Keturah, Jerusha and Aimee; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Talan, Alexandria, Michael, Madeline, Tristen, Logan and Brynn.
Frank was predeceased by a brother, Leslie Woodhouse and a sister, Ivy Leader.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 26 Hendricks Road, Perkiomenville, PA with David Crosley officiating. Interment will be in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire, England. Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA is in charge of arrangements.
