Evelyn Yergey

September 15, 1930 — September 2, 2011

Evelyn R. (Miller) Yergey, 80, widow of J. Clark Yergey of Barto, died Friday, September 2, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.
Born in Barto, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Grill) Miller.
She worked for the Boyertown Casket Company as a casket finisher and for twenty years as a bus driver for Quigley Bus Service. She was a lifelong member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Bally.
Surviving are a daughter, Doreen Cechak of Barto; a sister, Violet M. Nyman of Barto; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband she was predeceased by three sisters, Emma Schott, Sallie Miller and Alma Stahl; four brothers, William Miller, twin brothers, Howard and James Miller, and an infant brother, John Miller.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 610 Pine Street, Bally, PA with MSGR Edward J. Coyle officiating.
Interment will follow in Most Blessed Sacrament Church Cemetery, Bally. Family and friends are welcomed to attend a viewing prior to the service in the church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Arrangements by Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville.
