Evan T. Stoudt, 46, companion of Mary O. Alatorre, of Hereford, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Sellersville, he was the son of Carol A. (Thomas) and Linwood R. Stoudt, Jr. of Pennsburg.
He worked in the construction industry and also at Express Temp Agency.
He was a 1984 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School where he played football and wrestled and attended Western Montgomery County Vo-Tech School.
He was a lifelong member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ. He was also a member of the Reading Motorcycle Club, the VFW Post #5954, Red Hill, the Green Lane, East Greenville and Bally Fire Companies and the Owl’s Nest #1302, East Greenville. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and watching vintage airplanes at air shows.
He will be sadly missed by his parents and companion, his sister, Sherri L., wife of Grant E. Miller, Sr. of Gilbertsville; maternal grandmother, Verna Thomas of Red Hill; a nephew, Grant E. Miller, Jr. and two great nieces, Gemma E. and Giselle R. Miller. He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, George Thomas and paternal grandparents, Betty and Linwood R. Stoudt, Sr.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. James R. Roth officiating. Burial follows in New Goshenhoppen Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
