Eva Mae (Miller) Peterson, 85, widow of Clarence D. Peterson, of Pennsburg and formerly of Red Hill and East Greenville, passed Friday, December 4, 2015 at Pennsburg Manor.
Born in New Berlinville, she was a daughter of the late Wiloughby and Eva Miller.
She was a lifelong member of New Goshenhoppen UCC Church in East Greenville, Red Hill VFW # 5954 Ladies Auxiliary, Green Lane Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, and American Legion Post # 184 Ladies Auxiliary of East Greenville.
Surviving are two children, Randy G. Peterson and his wife, Sherry of East Greenville and Cynthia M. Bivighouse and her husband, James of Green Lane; three grandchildren, Matthew Peterson and his wife, Emily of Allentown, Andrea Goryl and her husband, Benjamin of Charlotte, NC and David Bivighouse and his wife, Susan of Red Hill; three great-grandchildren, Owen Gorgyl, Anna Peterson and Marlee Bivighouse.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Goshenhoppen UCC Church, 1070 Church Rd., East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Dr. Deborah Rahn Clemens officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. There will be a viewing from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday, at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville and from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
