Eva (Moyer) Godshall, 96, of Red Hill, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in Pennsburg Manor. She was the wife of the late LeRoy Godshall, with whom she shared fifty-three years of marriage before his death in 1995.
She was born July 4, 1923 in Gabelsville to the late Walter and Mary (Himmelreich) Moyer. She was a sewing machine operator for many years at various local manufacturers. The last of her nineteen working years were at American Electronic Laboratory in Colmar, PA before retiring in 1985.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sumneytown, PA. She also loved traveling on AARP trips.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings: Lucy Rhoads, Walter “Fritz” Moyer and Step-Siblings: Hannah Sweinhart, Mary Landis, Anna Booth, Harry Houck and Eli Moyer.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3104 Main Street, Green Lane, PA 18084. Officiating will be Rev. Rebecca Schanely. Viewing will be from 10-11 AM. Burial will follow in Friedens Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the church at the above address or charity of your choice.
