Eva W. (Moyer) Gehman, 87, wife of the late Noah M. Gehman, of Main Street, Bally died Thursday, December 10, 2009 at home.
Born in Vernfield, PA, she was a daughter of the late Jacob H. and Sallie (Weber) Moyer.
She had attended Eastern Mennonite Bible School in Harrisonburg, VA for 2 years. She was a homemaker and caregiver. She was a member of Bally Mennonite Church.
Surviving are 6 children, Barbara, widow of Craig Dyer of Clearwater, FL; Mary E. Gehman of Macungie; LuElla Gehman of Bally with whom she resided; Sarah, wife of Richard Miller of Manchester, NH; Lois, wife of Steve Hackman of Souderton; and N. Alan Gehman of Mt. Royal, NJ; a sister, Anna W., wife of Raymond Moyer of Souderton; 12 grandchildren, Craig Dyer, Kristie Sefing, Shannon Dyer, Scott Hackman, Amanda Sagastume, Tara Landis, Richard Miller, Zachary Landis, Laura Miller, Andrea Miller, Nathan Landis and Christina Miller and 6 great grandchildren, Sydney and Alexa Sefing, Brendan and Diego Sagastume, Lincoln Landis and June Hackman. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Jani Landis, 2 brothers, John and Howard and 3 sisters, Mary, Ella and Sara.
A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Monday evening at Bally Mennonite Church, 1481 Rt. 100, Bally with Rev. James Longacre officiating. Calling hours will be at 6 to 7 pm. at church. Interment is private.
