Ethel A. (Poggi) Buck, 75, wife of Richard M. Buck, of Pennsburg, died July 6, 2011 in Pennsburg Manor. She and her husband celebrated 57 years of marriage on May 29, 2011.
Born in Trumbauersville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Miller) Poggi.
She was a waitress for Trainer's Restaurant, Quakertown for many years before retiring.
Surviving along with her husband, Richard M. Buck of Upper Perkiomen Manor are children, R. Michael Buck and wife, Nancy of Red Hill, Scott B. Buck and wife, Lynda of Barto, Barbara A. Prizer widow of Butch, of East Greenville, Leighann M. Cannon and husband, David of Red Hill, Glenn P. Buck and wife, Stacey of Coopersburg, Gordon A. Buck of Red Hill and Chris L. Buck and wife, Wendy of Pennsburg; siblings, Antoinette Koetteritz widow of John of Tannersville, Joseph Poggi of Auburn, CA, Marie Kuhn and husband, Herbert of Telford; eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Bargman.
A funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Monday at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg. Family and friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at church.
