Esther R. (Marks) Slack, 92, widow of Otis W. Slack, of East Greenville, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 at Phoebe Richland Health Care Center in Quakertown.
Born in Emmaus, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Hattie (Stickler) Marks.
Esther worked for Plummer Precision Optics in Pennsburg as a polisher for 13 years until retiring in 1972.
Prior to that, she worked at Burlington Ribbon Mill in Emmaus for eight years.
She was a member of of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Zionsville.
Surviving are two children, Linda D., wife of Lester Renninger and James W. Slack, widower of Renee Moses; three grandchildren, Lesley, Lester III and Jessica; two great-grandchildren, Cody and Hailey; a brother, Larry Marks; and five sisters, Eleanor Miller, Joyce Reichelderfer, Mildred Endy, Doris Moore and Alverda Grello.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by two brothers, Marvin and Kenneth Marks.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Services entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA.
