Erika H. (Martin) Kleinbach, 88, widow of Kenneth S. Kleinbach, of Peter Becker Community, formerly of Green Lane, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 at Grand View Hospital.
Born in Burkhardtsdorf, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Albert O. and Helen (Leistner) Martin.
She worked at the former Rosenau Brothers and was a longtime member St. John’s Lutheran Church and former Sunday school teacher at The Green Lane Sunday School. She also was an accomplished oil painter and enjoyed painting in her spare time.
She was a loving wife and mother and will be sadly missed by her 4 children, Dennis K. Kleinbach and wife, Sabina of Half Moon Bay, CA, Keith K. Kleinbach and wife, Dale of Pennsburg, Fred K. Kleinbach and wife, Lauren of Perkiomenville and Lisa E. Kleinbach and fiancé, W. Joseph Fleshman of Valley Forge; sister-in-law, Betty Martin of Green Lane; 4 grandchildren, Amy Kleinbach, Joshua Kleinbach and wife, Raven, Kristian Kleinbach and wife, Kristen and Shannon, wife of Will Nolthenius and 6 great grandchildren, Alesandra, Rachael, Jacob, Ryan, Nathaniel and Samantha. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Gerhard Martin.
