Eric Joseph “EJ” Wahl, 18, of New Hanover Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at his home.
Born in Meadowbrook, PA, he was a son of Eric and Jennifer (Thackray) Wahl of New Hanover Township.
EJ graduated this year from Pope John Paul II in Royersford and is a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg.
Surviving in addition to EJ’s parents is his maternal grandmother, Ann Thackray of Pennsburg; paternal grandmother, Rosalie Wahl of Glenside; siblings, Marissa, Jager, and Hollyann Wahl, all of New Hanover Township; aunts and uncles, David Thackray and wife, Donna of Slatington, Douglas Thackray of Pennsburg and Brian Gillespie and wife, Maggie of Easton; and many cousins. EJ was predeceased by his two grandfathers, Donald Thackray and Carl Wahl.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, August 16, 2013 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 11a.m to 12 Noon Friday at the church.
