Emma J. (Diehl) Fox, 79, wife of Clair W. of Hereford, formerly of East Greenville, passed away on Monday, July 12th in her residence. She and her husband would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on October 8, 2010.
Born in Upper Hanover Township, Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Martha (Hersh) Diehl.
She was a homemaker and a longtime member of New Goshenhoppen UCC, East Greenville.
Surviving with her husband is a son, Bill and wife, Grace of Perkiomenville; a brother, Linford Diehl and wife, Loretta of Green Lane. She was predeceased by a daughter, Patsy Fox and an infant son; two brothers, Alvin and Eugene Diehl and three sisters, Lillian Musselman, Pauline Frick and Anna Stauffer.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 16 at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville, PA 18041 with the Rev. James Roth officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family and Friends may call 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday in the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to New Goshenhoppen UCC Cemetery Fund, or to a charity of your choice.
