Elsie (Wilson) Antonio, 86, of Pennsburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Pennsburg Manor. She was the loving wife of the late Patrick G. Antonio, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Hannah (Kaufman) Wilson.
Elsie was employed as a school bus driver for Levy School Bus Company in Trumbauersville, PA for 20 years and previously worked at the former Berman Sales & Leasing Co. in Pennsburg for 5 years.
She was a longtime member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Pennsburg, PA where she volunteered at the church kitchen for 20 years. She was a member of Pennsylvania Order of the Eastern Star - 318 Perkiomen Chapter where she served as Worthy Matron from 1969-1970. She was also a member of the Perkiomen Valley Woman’s Club, the Needlework Guild of America, President of the American Cancer Society UP Unit for 10 years, former member of Friends of the UP Library, and volunteered through the UPMS Nature Center. She was also the secretary to troop committee of the Green Lane Boy Scouts Troop 338, was involved with girl scouts and was a 20-year board member to the Perkiomen Valley Academy.
Surviving are her son, David W. Antonio and wife, Lorraine of Stowe, PA; and her sister, Mary W. Weber and husband, Fred of Chester, VA. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a sister, Katherine Owens.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. Family and friends may attend a viewing from 10 to 11 AM. You may offer condolences and share memories at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
