Born in Lehighton, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Arthur U. and Mabel (Schuch) Snell.
She was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and sister.
Surviving is a daughter, Roberta J. Gumpert of Birdsboro; a sister, Mabel Williams of Smithport and two grandsons, Stephen Pirnik of Lansdale and Andrew Gumpert of Pennsburg.
