Elfrieda L. “Fritzie” (Angstadt) Richard, 89, widow of Roy Z. Richard, of Red Hill, died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospice House.
Born in Spinnerstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late George O. and Pearl (Mohr) Angstadt.
She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
Fritzie loved to bake and play Bingo.
Surviving are her children Larry D. Richard and wife, Kathleen of Red Hill and Brenda L. Nicholson wife of Kenneth of Emmaus; four grandchildren Dominic Richard, Tanya Mauger, Serena and Ashley Richard; 5 great-grandchildren Owen Miller, Jordan Richard, Tia Miller, Zakkary Keppler and Dylan Mauger. She was predeceased by a son Dominic C. Richard; two brothers Lawrence and Linford Angstadt and a sister Ida Schaffer.
Funeral services will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA, with the Rev. Sharon Feuerstein officiating. Burial follows in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Red Hill. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
