Eleanor E. (Miller) Kumpf, 92, formerly of Schwenksville and a resident of Frederick Living, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Manatawny Manor in Pottstown. She was the wife of the late Herman G. Kumpf, sharing 55 years of marriage before his passing in 2008.
Born in Palm, she was the daughter of the late James and Idella (Heilman) Miller.
Eleanor was a 1948 graduate of East Greenville High School. She was a wonderful homemaker and loved spending time and staying involved with her family; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Boyertown, where she was involved with the EC Global Missions Committee and traveled on many missionary trips. She enjoyed volunteering at church and Frederick Living and loved gardening, sewing, embroidering and needle point.
Surviving are two sons, Timothy Kumpf and wife, Diane and Mark Kumpf and wife, Nancy; three daughters, Sally Mallatratt and husband, Andrew, Jennie Wagaman and husband, Frederick and Alice Friggle and husband, William; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband,
she is predeceased by a grandchild and her two brothers, James and Raymond Miller.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on September 10, 2022 at Trinity E.C. Church, 250 Swinehart Rd, Boyertown, PA 19512. You may greet the family from 10 to 11 AM. Eleanor will be laid to rest privately at Hosensack E.C. Church Cemetery, Zionsville.
