Edward Lampart

December 27, 1931 — February 10, 2018

Edward C. Lampart, Sr., 86, the beloved husband of Joan M. (McArdle), passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at his home in Quakertown, surrounded by his family.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William C. and Florence (Doerr) Lampart, Sr.

A military man “from the word go”, Ed proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, served in the Air National Guard for 26 years and was a longtime member of the American Legion Post 242 in Quakertown.

Ed served his community as the former Judge of Elections for Milford Township for many years and was a faithful member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg, where he also enjoyed membership in the “Meatloaf Club”.

With a love for the outdoors and the mountains, he enjoyed photography as well as hunting and fishing.

Surviving along with his wife, are his three children, Edward C. Lampart, Jr. and wife, Lori of Philadelphia, Lynne A., wife of Mark Kirsch of Pleasant Garden, NC and Elaine J., wife of Thomas Titlow of Langhorne; five grandchildren, Colleen K., wife of Maj. Joseph Bincarousky, Thomas M. Titlow, Jessica M., wife of Sean Meister, Edward C. Lampart, III and Jackson Lampart; four great-grandchildren, JJ, Elyse, Eire Lyn and Calla Bincarousky; and his brother, Harry Lampart of Philadelphia.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, William, Jr., Raymond, and Joseph Lampart; and his sister, Marie Milburn.

A funeral mass, celebrating his life, will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18041. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 9 to 10:45 AM in the church prior to the mass. There will be a private burial at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to ¬¬¬¬¬ Grand View Hospice, 700 Lawn Avenue, Sellersville, PA 18960.
