Edna (Steeb) Monahan, 98, widow of Frank J. Monahan, formerly of Haring Road, Pennsburg, died Friday, November 5, 2010 at Belle Haven Nursing Home, Quakertown.
Born in Hilltown Township, PA, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Neubert) Steeb.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. She was a former member of the Montgomery County Beekeeper’s Association.
Surviving are a son, Francis “Jim” Monahan and his wife, Carole of Pennsburg; a sister, Mabel Moyer of Sellersville; a grandson, James A. Monahan of Red Hill and 4 great grandchildren, Megan, James, Kaela and Sara. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a son, Dennis T. Monahan; a grandson, Ronald A. Monahan and 2 sisters, Lillian Carrigan and Ethel Ulmer.
A viewing and funeral service were held Wednesday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating.
