Edna M. “Pepsi” (Kuhns) Fox, 83, of Pennsburg died Friday at Chestnut Knoll in Boyertown. She was the wife of Donald "Shad" Fox celebrating 63 years of marriage on September 25th.
Born in East Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Amy (Benfield) Kuhns.
She was a seamstress at the former Wismer’s Clothing Co., Pennsburg for over 20 years before retiring then was a bus driver for Levy Bus Co. for many years.
She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Pennsburg where she was a former Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the American Legion Post #184 where she belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary and bowled in their Bowling League for 60 years and participated at 25 (WIBC) National Bowling Tournaments finishing as high at 15th place out of the 30,000 bowlers. She also enjoyed crocheting, rug making and doing genealogy as a hobby.
Surviving along with her husband, are three sons, Brian D. Fox and wife, Karen of Lewisburg, Gary K. Fox and wife, Lorraine of East Greenville and Darin R. Fox and wife, Lori of Barto; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Two brothers, Curtis and Ray Kuhns and two infant twin brothers predeceased her.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 81 N. Main Street, Pennsburg 18073. Interment follows in the church cemetery. Call 9:30 to 11 a.m. at church.
