Edith B. (Kulp) Freed, 92, widow of Harvey D. Freed, formally of Pennsburg, died January 10, 2015, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.
Born in Pennsburg, she was a daughter of the late Raymond W. and Carrie P. (Bergey) Kulp.
She was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her children, Judith A. Essig and husband, Carl of Hatfield, and Ronald P. Freed and wife, Cheryl of Mertztown; and two grandchildren, Stephen Essig and Shelby Freed.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in East Greenville, with the Rev. Michael Jones officiating. Burial follows in New Goshenhoppen Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville.
