Edith V. (Kolb) Frank, 82, of Pennsburg, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Lifequest Nursing Center in Quakertown, PA. She was the beloved wife of Robert L. Frank, celebrating 63 years of marriage in May.
Born in Watertown, NY, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Kolb and Virginia (Woodward) Yost.
She worked in various departments at Merck for many years and prior to that she was employed with American Olean Tile. She was a faithful member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in East Greenville, PA where she was on Consistory, a member of the quilting club and Women’s Fellowship. She was also an officer for the Golden Ages in Pennsburg and was a member of WAGS in Sumneytown, PA.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cross stitching.
Surviving along with her husband, are her son, Jeffrey R. Frank and wife, Sharon A. of Pennsburg, PA; her granddaughter, Laura A. Frank of Pennsburg, PA; brothers, Charles Kolb of Spinnerstown, PA, Richard Kolb of East Greenville, PA and Benjamin Kolb of Nampa, ID; and her sister, Esther Bauer of Frisco, TX.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018 at New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Cydney Van Dyke officiating. Burial follows in the church cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church.
