Edith H. (Rauch) Endy, 93, of N. Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Pennsburg and Hummelstown, PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River, SC surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of the late Wilbur Endy, sharing 67 years of marriage before his passing in February of 2017.
Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Helen (Weber) Rauch.
Edith was a 1947 graduate of Newton High School in Queens, NY and began her career as an administrative specialist on Wall Street. After marrying her husband, she moved to Pennsylvania and started a family. While raising her four children, she was employed at the former Keystone Transformer for 20 years before retiring.
She was a faithful member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in East Greenville, PA where she taught Sunday School and Bible School.
She will be sadly missed by her four children, Robert L. Endy and wife, Cindy of Kentucky, Donna L. Smith and husband, Stephen of Delaware, Judy L. Long and husband, Jan of Florida and Michael L. Endy and wife, Eileen of South Carolina; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter. Along with her parents and husband, she is predeceased by a grandson, Bradley Stevens; a great-granddaughter, Amber Callison; and siblings, Edward and Dorothy Rauch.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Edith’s life on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 12 PM at New Goshenhoppen U.C.C., 1070 Church Rd., East Greenville, PA 18041 followed by a burial in the church cemetery.
