Earl E. Strunk, 63, of Bally, PA died Friday, May 3, 2013 at his home. He was the husband of Margaret “Peg” (Sobjak) Strunk celebrating 43 years of marriage on May 31, 2012.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the Mary (Weinsteiger) Strunk of Bally and the late Earl C. Strunk.
He worked as an ink blender at the former Boyertown Packaging for 35 years until it’s closing.
He also was an EMT for Bally Ambulance for 40 years and also served the Upper Perkiomen Ambulance. He was a volunteer fireman for Bally Fire Company and a former Auxiliary Policeman in Pottstown and Bally.
He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Bally and the Bally Gun Club and was active in the Boy Scouts.
He will be sadly missed by his wife; mother; four children, Cheryl M. Strunk, companion of Jim Camburn of Bally, James E. Strunk and wife, Julie of Bally, Beth Ann, wife of Robert LaSalle of Barto and Jennifer L., wife of Mike Gorman of Palm and 7 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 610 Pine Street, Bally with Monsignor Edward J. Coyle officiating. Burial follows in the church cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and also 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville.
