Earl E. Kulp, 78, husband of Nancy E. (Hoffman) Kulp, of Washington Street, Red Hill, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in Grand View Hospital, Sellersville. He and his wife celebrated 57 years of marriage on June 28th.
Born in Green Lane, he was a son of the late Earl B. and Amy V. (Reiter) Kulp.
He retired in 1998 as a Quality Control Supervisor at Cook Specialty Company after working there for 46 years.
He was a US Army veteran of Korea and a 1951 graduate of East Greenville High School.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He also was a member of the Owl’s Nest #1302 and the East Greenville, Red Hill and Green Lane Fire Companies. He loved bowling, playing darts, hunting and fishing, baseball and his beloved dog “Mia”.
Surviving along with his wife are a son, Keith S. Kulp and his wife, Melanie Bleam of Pennsburg; a daughter, Donna L., wife of Kenneth Brewer of Green Lane and two granddaughters, Rebecca, wife of Scott Ferguson of Pennsburg and Sarah Brewer of Hummelstown. Along with his parents he is predeceased by a son, Michael E. Kulp, a daughter, Debra L. Kulp and a sister, Evelyn Reinert
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. James R. Roth officiating. Interment follows in New Goshenhoppen Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
