Douglas M. Minner, 47, of Lansdale, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 in Abington Health Lansdale Hospital.
Born in West Rockhill Township, he was the son of Tobias W. “Toby” and Louise A. (DeFanti) Minner of Green Lane.
He was a 1985 graduate of Emmaus High School and enjoyed fishing, golfing, horse racing and was a fan of the Philadelphia sports teams.
He was a salesman for Quality Roofing Supply Company in Lansdale for the past 10 years.
Surviving along with his parents are two sisters, Angelina L., wife of William R. Kutz of Douglassville and Stephanie L. Minner, companion of Steven G. Grochowski of Easton; nephews, Benjamin, Ryan and Alexander; nieces, Ashley and Jordan and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Wilfrid G. and Grace M. Minner and maternal grandparents, Massimino M. and Helen B. DeFanti.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
