Dorothy A. (Berger) Schultz, 93, widow of Melvin C. Schultz, formerly of Hereford, died Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Emmaus Village.
Born in Emmaus, she was a daughter of the late Cora (Eck) and Howard Berger, Sr.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her children, Jean L., wife of Melvin E. Haas of Westfield, Gary L. Schultz and wife, Judith E. of Plano, Texas, Terry L. Schultz of Red Lion, Melvin C. Schultz, Jr. of Hereford and Jeffrey R. Schultz of Fleetwood; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Howard, Jr. and two sisters, Mildred and Catherine.
She was a member of Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church, Clayton for over 70 years and a member of the Friendship Hook and Ladder Ladies Auxiliary in Boyertown.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Doug Evans, former Pastor of Bethany E.C. Church officiating. Burial follows at Bethany E.C. Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
