Diann H. (Binder) Mory, 78, of Macungie, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. She was the wife Edwin “Ed” R.P. Mory, III for the past 28 years.
Born in East Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Roger and Lena (Weiss) Binder.
She was a 3rd grade teacher for 35 years at Souderton School District and for 1 year at Upper Perkiomen School District. Diann was a member of Pennsburg United Church of Christ. She played the piano since she was 5 years old and loved to sing.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Fred Binder and a sister, Virginia Binder.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Pennsburg U.C.C., 775 Main Street, Pennsburg, PA 18073 with Rev. Rebecca Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. There will be a viewing from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Friday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
