Dennis G. Laubach, 76, passed away on October 28, 2022 at Souderton Mennonite Home. He was the husband of Alverta J. (Styer) Laubach.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late George F. and Anna A. (Frey) Laubach. Dennis served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed in the maintenance and carpentry department for 35 years at Merck Co., West Point, Pa. In retirement, he worked as a stock clerk at Weis Markets.
He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Pennsburg, where he served as assistant sexton doing heavy cleaning and as cemetery caretaker. Dennis was active in the fire service, serving as a firefighter for Red Hill Fire Company and on the fire police of Green Lane Fire Co. and Pennsburg Fire Co. He was also a member of Upper Perkiomen Valley Lions Club and the Red Hill Boy Scout Troop.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Scott Laubach and wife Amanda, of Harleysville; Cheryl L. Flachs and husband Jay, of Kansas City, KS and Brian Laubach, of Pottstown, PA; sisters: Barbara Brown and husband Kevin, of Perkiomenville and Sherry Asselin, of Homasassa, FL; grandson, Carter Laubach and nieces: Alyssa Soupik, of Gilbertsville and Stephanie Galeazzo, of North Dakota.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11 AM at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA. Calling time is from 10-11 AM. Burial is private.
