Dennis M. Hagenbuch, Sr., 67, husband of Evelyn (Snyder) Hagenbuch, of Perkiomenville, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Allentown, PA, he was a son of the late Lillian (Folks) and Earl Hagenbuch, Sr.
He worked as a shoe repairman for 20 years at the former Quaker Shoe of Allentown and as a grinder for 30 years, retiring in 2012 from Cook Technologies of Green Lane.
Dennis was a member of Frieden’s United Church of Christ of Sumneytown.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 46 years, are his children, Dennis M. Hagenbuch, Jr. and companion, Christine Broadbelt of Honeybrook and Tammy Vargo of Perkiomenville; siblings, Donald Hagenbuch of East Greenville, Alverta , wife of William Trumbauer of Palm, Barbara Metz of Allentown and Ruth Rothrock of Albrightsville; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings, Earl Hagenbuch, Jr., Leroy Hagenbuch, and Lorraine Barndt.
A funeral service will be held 11 am on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Cheryl A. Stoneback officiating. There will be a viewing on Tuesday 6 pm until 8 pm and Wednesday 10 am until 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Frieden’s Union Cemetery of Sumneytown.
