David Mack

December 30, 1962 — August 9, 2009

David C. Mack, 46, husband of Sheila M. (Day) Mack, of Boyertown, died Sunday, August 9, 2009 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. He and his wife were married 24 years in September.

Born in Allentown, PA, he was a son of Robert D. Mack of Pennsburg and the late Thelma R. (Gilbert) Mack.
He was employed in the production department of Atlas Cold Storage in Hatfield for the past 3 years. Prior to that he worked on the family Dairy and Crop Farm for many years.
He was a member of the New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church, Gilbertsville.

Surviving along with his wife, Sheila and father, Robert are 3 sisters, Nancy, wife of Donald Yerger, Sandra A., wife of Stephen Reeder and Patricia L., wife of Claude Walter, all of Pennsburg; a brother, James R. Mack and his wife, Mary Alice of Pennsburg and many nieces and nephews. Along with his mother, Thelma he is predeceased by a brother, Robert D. Mack, Jr. and a nephew, Scott S. Reeder.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Andrew J. Evenson, Associate Pastor of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Red Hill officiating. Interment is in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

The family requests memorial contributions be made in his memory to New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2941 Lutheran Road, Gilbertsville, PA. 19525.
