Daniel Bower

Daniel Bower, 91, husband of Perma A. (Smith) Bower, of Deep Creek Road, Perkiomenville, PA died on Monday, January 4, 2010 in his residence.

Born in Siesholtzville, PA he was a son of the late John S. and Sallie G. (Frey) Bower.
He was a welder for over 20 years at Occidental Chemical Co. retiring in 1984, prior to that he worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber Co.
He was a member of Palm Schwenkfelder Church.

Surviving along with his wife is a daughter Marjorie wife of Olin Mastin of Barto; a brother, Harold Bower of Red Hill, two granddaughters, and two great granddaughters and one great grandson.
Daniel was predeceased by brothers, Paul, Peter, Wilmer, Lloyd and Lester and two sisters: Helen and Mae.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. Officiating will be Rev. Ronald R. Krick and Rev. Nicholas L. Pence. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories Cemetery.
